All you have to do is start talking....

While doing the Introduction to Human Communication project, Jesslyn said something that made me think. She basically said that if it weren't for Human Comm and the way that a certain lecturer *cough* paired us up with random and unknown members on purpose, we would never have talked and got to know each other better and become friends (at least I think thats what we are :/ Right Jes? Wan Hoong?).

With so many people in this world, it can be daunting to get to know and befriend each and every one of them, but never think that you can't get along with them. All it takes is the initiative and the interest to really get to know a person even if he or she is unfriendly or grouchy. There have been many movies (espeacially Disney movies) about grouchy or unfriendly characters actually being very caring and great people once you get past the first impression and start getting to know them.

There are so many people in this world that could become my friend or your friend, you just need to talk to them. On friday, we got together to do the project and during that, we manage to talk quite a bit and finally get to learn more about one another and started working better as teammates. So if you see someone you wanna make friends with or looks like they need a friend, just start talking, you never know what to expect :)
